Question the cast

Five people with real stakes in Two Rivers' AI decision. Each is an AI persona you can chat with in character, to hear the pushback your idea will meet before you ever bring it to the room.

They do not agree. Hale wants a visible win by fall; Ford wants a defensible data posture first. Aboud wants to move now before he loses his early adopters; Reyes wants faculty in the room before anything is adopted. Aaliyah wants to know the rule and whether it works on a phone. That disagreement is the point. Bring a proposal and see where it holds.

MH
Dr. Marcus Hale
Provost, the sponsor
Owns the promise to the board. Speaks in priorities, tradeoffs, and timelines, and keeps asking what the institution can actually show by fall.
Question Marcus ↗
JF
Janelle Ford
CIO, the steward
Runs a 12-person shop and came up through security. Risk-first, dry, and asks the operational question everyone else skipped.
Question Janelle ↗
DA
Prof. David Aboud
Faculty, the champion
Rebuilt his courses around AI on his own time and runs the volunteer task force. Energetic, generous, and worried the momentum dies without support.
Question David ↗
SR
Dr. Susan Reyes
Faculty senate chair
Speaks for governance. Measured and principled, a productive skeptic who is warmer than she first sounds, and cares about the faculty who did not ask for this.
Question Susan ↗
A
Aaliyah
Student
First-generation, commuter, works about 25 hours a week and does much of her coursework on a phone. Candid, practical, and wary of being talked about rather than to.
Question Aaliyah ↗

Each persona is a composite character built for this workshop, not a real person, and reasons only from the case. Replies can be uneven; treat them as prompts for your thinking. Do not enter personal or confidential information.
